About NU PROJECTS
Our approach is to encourage and develop new sub-contractor relationships within our supplier and sub-contractor supply chains to assist and encourage Indigenous contractors. To achieve this, we will:
- Build a database of Indigenous contractors and suppliers who have been certified and/or are members of Supply Nation within our current subcontractor registers;
- Implement and educate our staff within our tendering model, on how to source Indigenous contractors and suppliers for our tender submissions;
- Assist and encourage Indigenous contractors;
- Actively pursue and source local Indigenous employment;
- As a company, we will proudly advocate and support Indigenous business and employment within our business environment;
- Set objectives and targets to measure our performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Our Team
CASEY SAYERS
Managing Director
Casey is an Indigenous woman from the Yuin Nation from the coast town of Ulladulla.
Her passion to generate opportunities within the Indigenous community has stemmed from her regular engagement with her Elder, Noel Butler with whom she shares an interest in the development and progression of Indigenous people in business.
Casey has developed a passion for creating Indigenous employment opportunities, with a particular focus on the ACT building industry. She hopes to achieve this with NU Projects.
Casey is a versatile Project management professional with more than 10 years’ experience of delivering complex, high-level projects from concept through to completion.
Her professional portfolio consists of high[1]profile government and commercial clients including Department of Defence, Comcare, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the National Museum of Australia.
Casey is responsible for the day to day operations of NU Projects, from project planning, project procurement, work health and safety through to the successful delivery and handover of all works.
